Introduction
This WebQuest was developed as part of the requirements for the Aurora University/ Kane County (IL) Regional Office of Education course "Infusing Engaged Learning with Technology using WebQuest; OEDS 581-5023, July 30-1, 2001, under the guidance of instructor Richard Levine.
This lesson is designed to help students develop a better understanding of Canada. Students will learn about geography, culture, places, people and climate. Students will work in cooperative groups and use many skills in research, analysis, map reading, and application. Students will also practice presentation skills by presenting an end product.
Content Area and Grade Level
This lesson is to be used for the seventh grade social
studies curriculum. It also may be used to incorporate language arts
or reading to form a cross curriculum project.
