Staff Development Workshops - Format
This workshop is based upon the following points:
- Teachers are pragmatic! You must have a reason to use the technology; i.e. to meet your instructional and student needs.
- Curricula must drive technology; technology should not dictate curricula.
- It is important that teachers check out learning activities done in other schools.
Participants will:
Outcomes
- Create / adopt / adapt quality learning activities that will support the curriculum / standards / performance descriptors for your grade level benchmarks.
- Create / adopt / adapt quality learning activities that will encompass the Illinois State Board of Education Core Technology Standards for All Teachers.
- Develop their own GreatPage web page to use as a teaching tool and/or increase communication.
