Heritage Elementary School Streamwood Illinois     Staff Development Workshops - Format   This workshop is based upon the following points: Teachers are pragmatic! You must have a reason to use the technology; i.e. to meet your instructional and student needs. Curricula must drive technology; technology should not dictate curricula. It is important that teachers check out learning activities done in other schools.  Outcomes Participants will: Create / adopt / adapt quality learning activities that will support the curriculum / standards / performance descriptors for your grade level benchmarks. Create  / adopt / adapt quality learning activities that will encompass the        Illinois State Board of Education Core Technology Standards for All Teachers.
