HIGH PRESSURE or LOW PRESSURE

Investigation 4: What are the atmospheric readings as a H (High) or a L (Low) approaches and departs a reporting station? Are there patterns or are they random?

There are four investigations you can do to answer this question.

    4. a. What happened to the AIR PRESSURE in front of, under and behind the H or L?

    4. b. What happened to the AIR TEMPERATURE in front of, under and behind the H or L?

    4. c. What happened to the RELATIVE HUMIDITY in front of, under and behind the H or L?

    4. d. Also record what happened to the WIND DIRECTION in front of, under and behind the H or L.
