Role Assignments
 
 

Mapmaker will plan the route so your group can get across the country and visit your sites.  You will work with your group to select sites you must visit as you travel across America.  You will leave from the West Coast and complete your journey at the East Coast.

The Mapmaker will research maps and create a route to take to visit your chosen sites.

The Mapmaker will be responsible for the map portion of the travelogue your group creates.  This map should show your route and labels for the points of interest.

Questions and ideas to consider:  How much traffic uses the road you are considering?  What towns are along the way for supplies and shelter?  How difficult will this route be when riding a bike? Is there an easier route?

Geologist  will work with mapmaker to consider landforms and when planning the route.

The Geologist will research types of landforms that will be seen along the trip.

The Geologist will be responsible for including landform descriptions on the travelogue your group creates.

Photographer will find photographs of points of interest you will see on the trip.

The Photographer must include photographs of the National Parks and various landforms seen along the way.

The Photographer will be responsible for including pictures in the travelogue your group creates.

Travel Coordinator will work with the Mapmaker to choose sites of interest and design a route to include all four National Parks.

The Travel Coordinator will act as a group leader and work with all group members to meet project requirements and deadlines.
